Vic: Telstra subcontractors on strike over new contracts = 2

Later, Telstra spokeswoman Emily Perry said the protesters "did not barricade the building"

and that their demonstration was not disruptive to staff.

She said the issue was not with Telstra but between the contractors and their subcontractors.

"The issue is with the contractors and their employees however Telstra will continue
to work with the contractors," she said.

"Our priority is to deliver excellent service to our customers."

She said while services have been rescheduled for today, significant delays were not expected.
