QLD: Adams sorry about IRA murder of Aussie lawyer
BRISBANE, Feb 23 AAP - Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams said today he was sorry about the death
of Australian lawyer Stephen Melrose at the hands of the IRA in the Netherlands in 1990.
He said he could not bring back Mr Melrose or his Australian companion, but he was doing
everything he could to bring peace to Ireland and to ensure no-one else was killed.
