Vic: Nurses' assistant pleads guilty to sex attacks
A 47-year-old former nurses' assistant has pleaded guilty to sex attacks on three elderlypatients under his care in a Melbourne nursing home.
MICHAEL PETER SEDGMAN, also pleaded guilty to one count of theft relating to clothingand a pair of prosthetic breasts belonging to Darvall Lodge, the Freemasons' Aged Carefacility where he worked.
SEDGMAN broke down and wept in the County Court as he entered guilty pleas to the threecounts of indecent assault.
The attack on the women, all in their nineties allegedly took place between September2000 and July 2001 in the Noble Park nursing home.
The women suffered from dementia and two have since died.
