SA:SA acting police minister resigns=2
Mr Finnigan's portfolios of industrial relations and state-local government relations
have been allocated to Patrick Conlon, whose gambling portfolio has gone to Gail Gago.
"The premier does not intend to fill the vacancy created by the resignation," the statement said.
Mr Finnigan has been acting police minister while Police Minister Kevin Foley is overseas.
Mr Foley is due back in Australia next week.
